BC'S ICYS is a family-owned, chef-crafted artisanal Italian ice company founded by husband-and-wife team BC and Charlotte Hoffman. Inspired by a beloved East Coast and Mediterranean classic, BC'S ICYS brings a fresh California twist to Italian ice through artisanal small-batch recipes made with real fruit, fresh herbs, spices, and premium ingredients. Every flavor is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and free from artificial flavors, colors, dyes, and high fructose corn syrup.
Created during BC's recovery from emergency heart surgery, BC'S ICYS combines his culinary and hospitality background with a passion for seasonal Southern California produce and nostalgic flavors. Together, BC and Charlotte have built the business around family, community, and creating memorable experiences—whether at local farmers markets, pop-ups, weddings, or special events.

BC'S ICYS creates chef-crafted, small-batch artisanal Italian ices made with real fruit, fresh herbs, spices, and premium ingredients. Italian ice is a smooth, dairy-free frozen dessert made from fruit, water, and sugar, offering a texture that's silkier than shaved ice and lighter than ice cream.
We believe the best flavors begin at the source, which is why we shop the farmers markets just like our customers do. We work closely with local farms to showcase produce at its peak, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. Rather than forcing the same flavors year-round, our menu rotates with the seasons—celebrating what's freshest and avoiding out-of-season produce that would compromise the flavor or quality.
The result is a menu that's always evolving, from familiar favorites like Lemon Aid and Tangelo Dreamsicle to chef-inspired creations featuring everything from fresh figs and strawberries to pandan, calamansi, pistachios, and other seasonal discoveries.
