We were inspired to start this business after traveling around the world and falling in love with open air markets and all the different kinds of grains we came upon. We love bringing a variety of grains and flours to Long Beach area farmers markets.

We offer delicious, nutritious organic whole grains and fresh-milled flours. We have a variety of ancient grains, like einkorn and rye berries, as well as gluten-free varieties, like quinoa and amaranth. Our whole-wheat flours are all mixed and milled at our home kitchen within days of offering them for sale. Unlike many grocery store flours, has been sifted out or injected in. We believe the best flavors begin at the source, which is why we shop the farmers markets just like our customers do. We work closely with local farms to showcase produce at its peak, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. Rather than forcing the same flavors year-round, our menu rotates with the seasons—celebrating what's freshest and avoiding out-of-season produce that would compromise the flavor or quality.

My name is Lee, I am the founder of Flavoured Seasonings. I was brought up in London, England and would go to the busy and exciting markets of Petticoat Lane, Brick Lane and Borough Market with my father as a child. I always enjoyed the variety of vendors and unique characters at the markets. On a trip to Rome 10 years ago I picked up lots of delicious Italian seasonings from the market there. Cooking with these seasonings changed my idea of cooking. I quickly realized that good seasonings can elevate the flavor of any dish. I started mixing my own blends for friends and family. They were met with such a enthusiasm that I decided to start my own company; Flavoured Seasonings and sell at farmers markets in Southern California. I now have many unique seasoning blends that bring tastes from all across the globe. It's a pleasure to sell my wares at the Seal Beach Farmers Market, and it's my honor to produce small batch fresh seasonings to inspire my customers to create healthy delicious meal for their families.

The Towels Band
Bio
The Towels are a Southern California based band specializing in Classic Rock, Blues, Country, and Bluegrass. Comprised of four men and one woman, each member sings lead as well as backup vocals, making the band very diverse and strong in harmonies.
Founded by Noral Squizz in 2010, the band has been going strong ever since. Squizz plays rhythm guitar that doubles as a synthesized organ. Noral Roy, the multi-instrumentalist, plays guitar, Dobro, and mandolin. Tom Bolton plays drums and percussion. Irene Kubert, the female member, plays acoustic guitar, tambourine, and cowbell. Jim Ellert, the newest member, is the bass guitarist.
The Towels have played at many Southern California venues including Texas Loosey's and the Buffalo Fire Department in Torrance, The Tavern in El Segundo, The Irish Times in LA, Prince O Whales in Playa, the Eagles Lodge on the Westside, the Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club, J. King Neptune's in Sunset Beach, the El Segundo Richmond Street Fair and a number of outdoor market gigs. The Towels currently perform several outdoor shows each month as well as at the Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey the last Friday of each month.
The Towels have a truly eclectic song list (visit our Song List page) and are performance ready for bars, clubs, restaurants, festivals, private events, and special occasions. What we grow
Available varieties change with the seasons including avocado, sage, buckwheat, orange blossom, and wildflower. Orange blossom honey tastes expectedly citrusy like oranges, while avocado honey tastes nothing like avocados. It’s less sweet with a dark color like molasses, revealing a higher mineral content that occurs in seasons with less rainfall. The sage honey is mild and floral, buckwheat is strong and spicy, and the somewhat fruity flavor of wildflower can change between seasons.
